Testimonials

"Both of my dogs suffer from lack of socialization, pulling on the leash, aggression toward other dogs, and to a lesser degree aggression toward people. Von Dubinhaus Shepherds have been very patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated to the training of my dogs. They go out of their way to suggest great ideas to help out with their behavior, and our dogs are making progress."

Rescue

We strive to make sure German Shepherd dogs that are no longer wanted can be rescued and do not end up at the pound or worse. We typically only accept pure-bred German Shepherds, many that other rescues will turn away due to their behavior problems. We want to be sure these dogs get a second chance. German Shepherds are our specialty, our passion, and protecting the breed and their integrity is our priority. We may accept other breeds depending on the situation. Please call to see if your dog might be a good candidate. Of course, our first objective is to keep them with you but circumstances tend to prevail.

You might also guess that maintaining our facilities, gear, and advertising is expensive and survives only from donations. If you would like to make a donation, kennel panels, fencing, blankets or paving stones for kennel flooring - our foster dogs and their future owners would be very grateful.

Re-homing fee varies from dog to dog depending on: food, training and if there are any vet bills. Most dogs come with lifetime training depending on the dog.
