GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE: We are Portland area locals with a chunk of land and a love for dogs. As you might guess there is a lot of self satisfaction in saving misbehaving dogs from a trip to the pound. Due to our contacts with local law enforcement and service programs we usually only accept pure-bred German Shepherds. They are our specialty, our passion and protecting the breed and their integrity is our priority.
You might also guess that maintaining boarding facilities, gear and advertising is expensive and survives only from donations. If you have some extra cash, kennel panels, fencing, blankets or paving stones for kennel flooring – our foster dogs and their future owners would be very grateful.
Please call to see if your dog might be a good candidate. Of course, our first objective is to keep them with you but circumstances tend to prevail.
